Friends, life has gotten expensive over the past few years.

Who qualifies for the $1,000 prize?
Any unsung hero you think is worthy of a little luxury and relaxation in their life!
You can nominate your mom ahead of Mother’s Day. A first responder who serves your community. Someone who tirelessly volunteers at your local food bank. A single mom who you know never gets a break.
And, yes, you can nominate yourself.
How do I nominate someone to win the $1,000 prize?
You can enter by uploading a brief (up to 90-second) video here. Brownie points if you share on Instagram and tag @pinalen.us!
Your video should cover:
- A day-in-the-life summary of the person nominated. Include all the good things they do to support their family, community, and why this unsung hero is so deserving of the $1,000 prize.
- How you imagine the self-care budget being spent. If you’re nominating another person, it might not be *exactly* how the money actually is spent in the end, but list out some ideas of the luxury the person deserves in their day-to-day.
- Your video can be selfie-style, talking at the camera. Easy peasy. You’re allowed to get creative and weave clips/images of the day-to-day together if you want — just be sure you have permission to do so if you’re nominating someone other than yourself.
